My little beings...

I was reading a fellow blogger's post today and it made me wonder why we choose to become parents.

Before children we could come and go as we pleased, go to bed when we wanted and wake up at noon, if we woke up at all, and eat at 10:00 pm if the mood struck us.

There wasn't the cost for daycare, car seats, formula, insurance and diapers.

There wasn't choosing the right doctor, daycare or planning for college...let alone saving for it.

SO WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD DID WE DO IT... crazy...right?!?!

Not so crazy... because after thinking about it (ALL DAY) I can't image what it would be like not to have my life right now...

1) The endless grin you get when he is trying to wake up in the morning but can't open his eyes

2) The shrill squeal of joy you when you walk in the room

3) The sound of laughter as she is running upstairs to be the first one to the top so she won't get the title of the 'rotten egg'

4) The way she twirls in endless circles outside wearing plastic princess shoes , a sash around her head as a crown and a baton used to turn individuals into a frog

5) The sweet smell of his freshly washed hair while rocking him to sleep

What a blessing... my little beings are...
